How to make a Dry Martini
The recipes below are for my preferred ratio of a Dry Martini and that's 6:1. However, it's important to note that everyone has a different palate and preferred ratio. To us Bartenders, we would deem 6:1 as Dry. 3:1 at Wet. Then an 8:1 or 10:1 as Very Dry and a 2:1 or a 1:1 as Very Wet.
A 10:1 Dry Martini may even be made by rinsing the Glass with Vermouth, then discarding.
To make a Dry Martini, we would typically use a Mixing Glass or a Cocktail shaker, BUT NEVER SHAKE the Cocktail. It's always stirred down with Ice.
Other tips include keeping your ingredients in a Fridge or Freezer. Chilling your serving Glass.
