Despite my mild hatred of Gin...well Juniper flavoured Vodka...sometimes it's even rarely flavoured with Juniper despite that being the ONLY criteria for making a Vodka, Gin! Back on point Barman... Where was I? Oh yeah, I quite like a Bramble Cocktail. BUT, the Bramble does taste so much better with Rum. If you want to try a simple swap, I'd highly recommend an Agricole! Or at least something cane juice! Mexican Paranubes or Haiti Barbancourt Blanc.
Anyway, this isn't about simply swapping Rum in for Gin. This is about taking concepts and recreating them.
If you only take two things from the recipe, well, actually, you HAVE to take at least three...
Firstly, the Hoolie Rum is Epic! Truly.
Secondly, the Schanpps, do buy a bottle and keep it in your freezer. It's divine!
Thirdly, Bob and your Bitters, you are a Genius! These taste phenomenal!
