The world has gone nuts for the espresso martini, but this is the cocktail that you should be drinking if you want a boozy caffeine hit. This is the Carajillo. Today, I'm going to show you how to make it. It's easy, to be fair. The Carajillo is a delightful cocktail originating from Spain and Mexico, and it’s gaining popularity for its unique blend of flavours and simplicity in preparation. In this video, I’ll guide you through the steps to create the perfect Carajillo, and I’ll also share some fun variations that will elevate your cocktail game.
To start, the Carajillo is a two-ingredient cocktail, combining Liquor 43 and cold-brew espresso. I’ll show you my preferred method of shaking it to achieve a velvety consistency, which enhances the drinking experience. You can choose to serve it in several ways, whether shaken or layered, depending on your personal preference.
As we dive deeper, I’ll introduce you to some exciting variations of the Carajillo. For instance, swapping Liquor 43 for its chocolate variant creates a deliciously indulgent chocolate Carajillo. I’ll also explore the addition of different spirits, such as spiced rum or tequila, to create unique flavour profiles that will surprise and delight your taste buds.
Throughout the video, I’ll share tips on garnishing and serving, ensuring that your Carajillo not only tastes fantastic but looks stunning as well. Whether you’re hosting a gathering or simply treating yourself, the Carajillo is a versatile cocktail that can be tailored to suit any occasion.
Join me as we embark on this cocktail journey, and don’t forget to let me know in the comments if you’ve tried making a Carajillo or if you have your own variations to share. I’m excited to hear your thoughts and experiences. Let’s raise a glass to the Carajillo, the cocktail that’s set to take the world by storm!
